Hi
thanks to Daniel Gauthier and Andreas Hegi those sceneries could be converted & uploaded:
Samedan ( highest in Europe and my favourite )

And from Suisse Scenery for FS 2004: www.swissfir.org/Gauthier/Gauthier.html
I've tweaked those airports:
- lsgs SION ( 2000m, 660m, ILS )
- lszb BERN ( 1730, 650, ILS )
- lszc Buochs ( 2000 )
- lsmp Payerne ( military 2850, ILS)
- lsgl Lausanne ( 1030 )
- lsgn Neuchâtel ( 680, 550 )
- lsgc Les Eplatures ( 1130, ILS )
- lsgp La Côte ( 580 )
- lsze Bad Ragaz ( 495 )
- lszg Grenchen ( 995, 485 )
- lszw Thun ( 800 )
- lsgb Bex ( 700 )
- lsgy Yverdon ( 850 )

Screenshots
( Other objects like atomic power plants, castles, bridges, factories etc. are positioned as well )
Because of the file size splitted into Suisse Part 1 and Part2:
Switzerland Suisse
Switzerland Suisse

As of January 4th 2007 all have correct run- and taxiways and some were submitted to Robin: Airport Database
It was done with Taxidraw and WED. World Editor
All files remain copyrighted by me and all sceneries by Gauthier or other authors.

Actually no cards come with them but here you find most approaches: www.vacc-sag.org

OTHER CONVERSIONS / AIRPORTS:
Milano Malpensa ( LIMC ) is actually an italian airport but only a few kilometers from the southern swiss border.
That's a superbe scenery, which you can simply run through the actual version of fs2xplane. Or use this
already converted version.

Zurich ( LSZH ) is the biggest swiss hub. http://lszh.aviation-art.ch

Lugano ( LSZA )
http://x-plane.org
Antonio has created more airports, search for pargentino at x-plane.org.

Basel Euroairport ( LFSB )
http://x-plane.org

Geneva International ( LSGG )
LSGG
In the current version delete with the overlay editor the Exclude buildings.

Airfields/conversions :
Airfields/conversions

Airfields by Glah (same as at xpfr.org):
More airfields

More airfields by Sandmann (search by author):
More airfields

SwitzerlandPak:
SwitzerlandPak

You find even more at x-plane.org but make shure to avoid doubles. Changing Suisse2004 ( removing an airport ) with the overlay editor is easy. http://marginal.org....nery/tools.html
Simply remove the buildings in the overlay editor and delete the corresponding airfield in the apt.dat.

For best eXPerience also install swiss roads and g2xpl or GMaps textures. For 2010 we should also get: SIRX

Happy flying
Michael

Mike,

Nice work, but I had to move this topic out of "Musthave" registry
1. You are not allowed to post your own work there (§ 1.1)
2. It did not contain a poll.

Please read the Musthave rules before posting there,

Cheers,

M

Hi Mike, I'm working on a FreeZ conversion at the moment, looks good but needs some extra work like taxilines and other missing details. I also have to ask FreeZ for permission before posting the scenery. Anyways, If somebody is interrested to help me with this project, go for it!

Hi Gab
Great! I only had a quick look at v2 of FreeZ and was turned down by the lot of work it means to convert. Actually I'm busy but hopefully somebody might give you a helping hand.
Can't wait for it.
Cheers Michael
