i see some drops on your windscreen. the same 'object' appears if it's raining cats and dogs..
edit: and the same appears when it snows..
2nd edit: normaly the background is grey when it rains, so you won't see that 'thing'

No, but having got your feedback I will.
Here's a couple of other bugs I've just reported, plus Austin's reply:
---
MB: Summary= ILS a/p disconnect
Description= when established with the a/p on the ILS the LOC and APP sometimes disengage (without me doing anything).
AM: u r hitting the stall warning i think
(I wonder what that means? I'm hitting a stall warning button/key? or I'm about to stall?)
---
MB: Summary= Free view won't rotate
Description= Using the free view - CONTROL-; - I can move my position left, right, fore and aft, but the rotate view keys don\'t work. (There is a slight rotational movement but it seems to be blocked)
AM: i think u r suppose to rotate with the mouse now
does that work?
MB: No - the mouse has no effect on the view.
Incidentally, If I click on the white centre cross, even thought the active white square does not appear, the mouse does operate the controls and steering. Clicking again deselects the controls.
---
Here's another that I've just reported:
Hitting RETURN no longer brings up the ATC screen (where you request ATIS or landing clearance, brighten runway lighting etc)
Anyone know how to do that now? (I've looked through the keyboard commands and don't see RETURN at all).

Solution: CLICK and DRAG the mouse.

I suspect he's too busy programing the sim to have time to really use it.

I used to have all sorts of graphics problems with my 24inch Intel Imac, but these were overcome by launching X-Plane in terminal. It's maybe worth trying for your current problems.
Here's a linkto tell you how.
The command-line I was advised to use was --no_vbos.
Here's a quick summary adapted from the link above:
To run X-Plane using command-line arguments, you must launch X-Plane using terminal.
Open the utility "Terminal"; it can be found in the Utilities folder (within the Applications folder).
Terminal gives you a command-prompt.
Drag your X-Plane application ikon into the terminal window.
The command line will list the names of all of the folders leading to your copy of X-Plane using / for directories.
All spaces will be preceded by \ characters.
Delete the extra space at the end and add the following to the command-line:
Contents/MacOS/X-Plane
After the word X-Plane you include command-line option:
--no_vbos
So this is how it should look
/Volumes/GIS/X-Plane\ 8.50\ RC-3/X-Plane\ 850\ RC-3.app/Contents/MacOS/X-Plane --no_vbos
There are other command-lines such as
--no_sprites
but I don't know what they do....

Cj27...I feel your pain!...I get that problem too but sometimes it goes away but only to reappear...even with totally clear skies...it's very annoying!

That's a shame!
I am not on a Mac, but I have just gone back to 8.60 for the time being. I am tired of the expensive mess called X-Plane 9.

Is this what you experience? Have you tried turning off AA and restarting?
