In the beta area are the aircraft being made by XPFW that are currently in beta, aircraft that are not yet free for anyone to download, but for people who would like to beta test it.
If you register to become a beta tester, the beta forum will be at the very bottom of the home XPFW forum page.

I come back after a while, maybe 2 days,
and I have to do this again and I have to re-log in and things?
maybe it's my computer. either way it's a hassle.

Sometime in the near future we will make some changes making it easier to access the beta area while still keeping it out of view for casual by-passers.

Ok Im really sorry but I dont see "My Controls".....Where exactly are we looking? I would love to be a beta tester for you. I have been flying simulators for over 20yrs now. I am fairly new to "X-Plane". Thank you for your patience.
ok guys I found what I needed. This is for anyone else looking to be a beta tester... I found it under "Subscriptions" NOT "My Controls" at the top of this page.
