Hey guys. I'm still in flight school, and after I learn something, I like to give it a go in X-Plane, and I do occasional flights, each time, adding what I learn to the procedure. I was wondering if anybody had any fms routes for south west Canada... Alberta to be exact. I am looking for regional plans, a personal favorite being CYEG to KORD. Any flight-plans similar to this for the Canadian airspace would be nice.

Thanks! - Jman

Look at simroutes.com They have plans for all around the world.
at any given minute there is over 250 Boeing 737s in the air. about every 5 seconds one takes off or lands.

Yes, SimRoutes is excellent for creating the route and saving as an XPlane FMS.

Since I live around CYVR, I'm like you. I try to fly local routes. Here's what I do to find real-world routes...
- go to www.flightaware.com
- bottom left column has a field to enter an airport code (you would type CYEG)
- that directs you to the Airport Activity page
- find the flight that matches your route in either of the destination tables
- you may have to click a "More" link if you don't see your destination on the Airport Activity page
- once you locate the flight, select the flight number
- that directs you to the flight/airline page
- here you can select any scheduled or previous flights for that flight number
- once you select a flight, it directs you to the Flight Details and will show you the route
- then go to www.simroutes.com and select "Generate Route"
- simply enter the two airport codes
- then copy/paste the route from FlightAware into the Route field and save as XPlane FMS.

For example: here's a CYEG-KORD route flown today (just landed)...
Flight: TCF7614
Carrier: Shuttle America
Aircraft: Embraer 175
Route: FUDGY VLN J483 MOT FAR J36 GEP DLL MSN JVL JVL4
Alt: 33,000

Hope this helps... :)

Or use Flightaware.

Eg. Skywest 5854

Under "Don't know the flight number" you can plug in your own city pair.

EDIT: Ooops, why did I dig up a 6 month old thread??
