Update, Beta 2.5

Last saved in XP v 940
- Added 360 deg photoreal 2D views from shots that I took.
Gives a much better sence of "being there" than the old ones.
- Minor flightmodel updates

DOWNLOAD Beta 2.5

Happy to hear this project is still happening. Beeing an Archer III I guess it will be an all modern interior? I will start my flight trainig in a 1979 Warrior II soon and am looking fod something useful in X-plane for good practise in cockpit recognition. Will there also be a analouge version to your PA-28? Any screenshots at this stage in production :-)

Ps love the present model although the default horrible Garmin GNS 430 I could do without, just taking valuable space next to your nice instruments and gauges.

This may just be me but,

in the new version is seems as thought the prop is offset to the right of center when spinning.

It looks fine from the outside the cockpit view show the disc off to the right.

I also see strange artifacts when I try to alter the view from the front window. Normally I can move the horizon up or down without a problem but now I have what I assume is the nose of the aircraft coming into view. Whatever it is, it is not attached to the aircraft and one corner of it is visible on the right edge of the front window all the time. Again, no problem from outside.

Not a complaint, just an observation. I'll try for a screen shot later.

Peter,

This has to do with your
- Screen resolution
- Field of view

X-Plane treats WIDE panels different than the old small ones.
In short if you use VERY high res or FOV things might look distorted and
bit's of the exterior will show.

The simple solution if you wish to keep your settings is to open the acf in planemaker.
Goto Menu/standard/viewpoint/view
and UNCHECK the box "show outside acf structure in 2D forward panel views"
Save.

Thats it :)

Thanks Morten,

I knew it had to have something to do with my setup. I'll give your instructions whirl over the weekend.

Keep up the good work

Peter
