Hello all!
For several weeks I´m trying to modify some aircrafts in my fleet. Planemaker is not the best tool to do that so I downloaded Blender (2.49a) and Python 26 to create objects which I want to paste on my aircrafts but there is something hindering me.... XPlane2Blender. From a tutorial I know that I have to install these scripts to import X-Plane objects into Blender and to export them to a XP format again but for some reasons I can´t install these XP2B -scripts.

Whenever I try it I get this:

----------------------------------------------------------------

Installing Blender scripts...

Failed to find the correct location for the scripts !!!

Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste ... _

(Push any button ... _)

----------------------------------------------------------------

Is there a possibility to install these scripts manually?

I´m very thankfull for every advice :)

Here are a few background information:

Blender Version 2.49a
Python 26
XPlane2Blender_309
(Windows Vista SP2)

Computer ->Local Disk (C:)-> program files-> Blender Foundation

HI
Blender 2.49 with Python 2.6.2 works here on Vista64 & Linux. ( scripts might be around 2 months old or so?)

Did u put the scripts in the correct location?:
Blender/.blender/scripts/
Thanks. Spar- and Ribsbreak
Michael

Thanks for these advices!
Finally I found a solution on my own by installing blender and the scripts manually. Now I´ll try to get used to blender that I can start developing object files in summer.
My goal is to get as close to the A346 exterior as the CLS A346 does ( I hope it won´t take me more than 3 years, but if it is necessary than there´s no way around ^_^ ).
