I just downloaded and installed this sound pack. However, the engines sound exactly the same inside and outside. the rest seems to be working fine. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for your help!

Hi, yes I agree the engines somewhat does sound similar on both ends. I am quite certain that the recording distance from the mic itself directly towards the engine does affect the dynamics and frequency due to angle and recording environment. This goes for the external sounds. The internal sounds are recorded by a separate 4-channel mic in the flightdeck, two at the overhead and two at the jumpseat. However the cause of the similarity is still uncertain. I will definitely keep an eye on this and keep you updated. Thanks for the notification ;)

Your Welcome. I will keep you updated with this topic. After the discussion, my team and I had decided to record all external engine sound files once again. However this time we would be recording the GE90 engines up close in the engine test-run stations in Macau. This process will take several weeks though... :o

Thank you Sir! I am very grateful for the encouragement that you are giving to us and your generosity to provide us with financial assistance :) We will do our best and not let any of our users down. This update will take us some time though as my team and I have to juggle with our studies and our minor contributions to the XPfreeware community. But as promised we will get it done as soon and as precised as possible. The UJSound Team would stay with you. :punk:
