Hey

I am not sure when to start flight training to gain hours. i can go solo at 16 here in Australia so i was told to start flying when i was 16. but before then just buy books and study, without a teacher or anything. when is the best time to start at 16 or before because what about school plus 60 hours of flying plus 40 hours of ground school.

Somebody please help?

Well, you can start your ground school about a half a year before you are 16.
Start your flying at 16.

40 hours of ground school is done in a classroom, not on your own. The flying hours (With regular school) will take time to do. It has already taken me half a year, and I am suspecting another half a year more before I complete my training.

It's never a good idea to start gaining hours before you can go solo. What age can you get licensed?
I would recommend to start gaining hours at the solo age, and hopefully, by the time your done, you will be old enough to get checked out and fully licensed.
